Keith Jones II, Head Coach of Kentucky State’s Men’s and Women’s volleyball program, will be the lead coach/instructor for all camps and clinics hosted. Coach Jones took over the Kentucky State volleyball programs in July 2024 following coaching stops at the collegiate, high school and national club level. His 25+ years as a player and coach paired with his unique experiencing developing both male and female athletes at all levels of volleyball continues to motivate him to keep coaching and has positioned him to work with all age and skill groups. His participative and interactive coaching styles challenges players to reemphasize fundamentals while exploring untapped utilization of their athleticism to excel in this sport. Coach Jones is a passionate and honest coach who is focused on giving the best possible experience to any individual who trains with him or his camps and clinics.
Coach Jones earned a Master's in Education from Texas Tech in 2014, following his Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management from Washington State University. Coach Jones’ professional career prior to KSU also includes over 10 years in student-athlete and student support services in higher education working for some of the best DI & DIII universities across the country. His background in student programming, leadership engagement, career development, and overall student retention perfectly positions him to help student athletes develop holistically in the college environment.
Each camp and clinic will include a combination of the best current college, club and high school coaches in the area. Each of these individually selected coaches will specialize in the skill/position groups and have a demonstrated passion for helping the next generation of volleyball players grow. Additionally, current and former Kentucky State volleyball players will assist with all camps. The individual information of coaches for each camp or clinic will be available as information is confirmed.
